Manifesto
Guard is not a position. It is a theory of control.
Guard is not a place you end up. It is a position you argue for, and keep arguing for, against somebody arguing the opposite.
Every grip is a claim. Every frame is a boundary. Every angle is an argument about where the next thirty seconds are going to go. None of it is decoration and none of it is luck.
The people who look calm under pressure are not calmer. They have simply been here before, in their heads, at low speed, enough times that the shape is familiar. What looks like instinct is recall.
Under resistance, improvisation is just a system you have not written down yet.
So we are interested in the writing down. In why the arm drag works and not only that it does. In the difference between escaping and recovering. In the reason a pass fails at the knee line and not at the finish.
We make rash guards. That is the commercial part, and we are not going to pretend a garment will improve your jiu-jitsu. It will not. It can be well made, fit correctly, survive being washed, and then get out of the way. That is the entire job, and most of the category still does not do it.
Position before submission. Structure before force. Theory before the scramble, so that when the scramble comes, it has somewhere to go.
