FAQ

Questions, answered as far as they can be

Where a decision has not been made, this page says so rather than guessing. Anything marked as pending is a real open question, not a placeholder we forgot to fill in.

Release and availability

When does Edition 001 come out?

No date is set. When one exists it will appear on the Edition 001 page and go to the list first. We are not running a countdown to a date we have not chosen.

Can I buy anything right now?

No. There is no working checkout on this site and nothing is in stock. The store page exists to show what is planned, not to take orders.

What does joining the list actually do?

It puts your email on a notification list. You get told when the date is set and when the release goes live. It does not reserve, allocate or queue anything, and there is no paid priority.

How often will you email me?

Rarely, and only about releases. No drip sequences, no discount bait, no abandoned-cart chasing. You can unsubscribe from any message.

Will there be a restock?

Undecided. Edition 001 is planned as a limited numbered run. Whether it returns depends on how the first run goes.

Sizing and fit

Where is the size chart?

Not published yet, because the pattern has not been graded. The size and fit guide covers how to judge rash guard fit in general and how to measure yourself, which is useful regardless of whose garment you end up buying.

Should I size up or down?

Generally down for no-gi, provided the smaller size still passes a shoulder rotation and underhook check. Torso length is the exception. The fit guide explains why.

Will you make womens sizing?

Intended, not confirmed. Size interest collected through the list feeds this decision.

Do you make ranked rash guards?

Planned as a future category. Any ranked garment has to be checked against the current published competition ruleset before it is sold, and that review has not been done.

Materials and care

What fabric is it?

Not confirmed. We are not going to name a composition or a weight before the production sample is signed off.

How should I wash a rash guard?

Cold wash, inside out, no fabric softener, no tumble dryer, hang out of direct sun. Heat is what destroys elastane and sublimated print, not washing. Wash it after every single session, without exception.

Do you make any performance or hygiene claims?

No. We have no test data, no certification and no product, so any claim about antimicrobial behaviour, injury prevention or performance benefit would be invented. Be sceptical when other brands make them without citing a standard.

Orders, shipping and returns

Where do you ship?

Not determined. Shipping regions, carriers and costs are set at the point the store goes live.

How long does delivery take?

Unknown, and we are not going to publish an estimate we cannot honour.

What is the returns policy?

A draft policy exists and is marked as a draft pending legal review. The return window, condition requirements and who pays return postage are all still open. See the draft.

International orders and customs?

Not configured. Duties and import charges are the kind of thing that has to be answered precisely or not at all.

Training and the brand

Is this gear only for advanced grapplers?

No. Fit and construction matter most to whoever trains most, and that is often somebody in their first two years who is on the mat five times a week.

Do you sponsor athletes?

No. We have no sponsored athletes, no affiliated academies and no ambassadors, and we will not imply otherwise.

Can my academy stock it?

There is no wholesale programme yet. Register interest through the contact page and it will be logged for when one exists.

Something on this site is wrong. Who do I tell?

Use the contact page and say what is wrong and where. Corrections to published articles are handled under the corrections policy and are recorded on the article itself.
